School business is a challenging profession, and PASBO wants to help all members succeed as they navigate through the twists and turns of their critical jobs. We’ve developed a mentorship program to provide PASBO members with trusted mentors in specific areas of school business. The program provides mentees with a trusted colleague to connect with, ask questions, and get hands on support to ensure success.

What is the role of a Mentee? The mentee’s role is to manage the mentoring partnership. Since the partnership is focused on the mentee’s learning objectives, mentees must devote time to clarifying professional goals and identifying strengths and areas for development to ensure the mentor is providing appropriate support and guidance.

What is the role of a Mentor? The mentor’s role is to share experience, insights, feedback, and time to provide guidance as they work through their roles, inevitably helping the mentee achieve their learning objectives.
