PASBO works hard to support members by advocating for additional resources, flexibility, mandate relief, and other needs at both the state and federal levels. PASBO works closely with the Pennsylvania General Assembly to advocate for the adoption of policies to improve the practice of school business and public education and to defend against proposals that would undercut state and federal support for public education or add layers of complexity, duplication, or cost to existing operations.

By providing PASBO members with legislative updates and action alerts, by defining policy positions on proposed legislation, by offering testimony on individual pieces of legislation, and by educating policymakers, stakeholders, and others on issues important to PASBO members, we work to ensure PASBO members have a voice in Harrisburg and beyond.
