• Is PASBO committee participation for you?

Serving on a PASBO committee is a great way to shape the future of your association. Committee participation will help you to cultivate and refine the leadership skills needed to successfully navigate your professional journey. As a committee participant, you will have plenty of opportunities to engage, collaborate and learn from the expertise and experience of your peers from across Pennsylvania. You and your colleagues will work to identify and discuss relevant school business topics, best practices, and trends, identify professional development needs and propose professional development programs to develop, support and increase the knowledge of PASBO members.

While the rewards to committee participation are significant, the time commitment is minimal, with most committee meetings running about 90 minutes in length. PASBO committees meet in-person at the PASBO office or virtually 4-6 times per year.

If you ready to share your expertise and ideas and help PASBO to fulfil our mission of developing and supporting leaders in school business operations while gaining valuable skills of your own, now is the time to join a PASBO committee.
