The Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials (PASBO)

is a statewide association, 4,100 members strong.


 Our members are professionals working in school business operations including: finance, accounting, facilities management, transportation management, food service management, technology administration, communications, human resources, payroll, purchasing and safety services. While diverse in areas of specialty, all members share a common goal – to build a strong foundation for learning by providing a safe, healthy, state-of-the art environment in which students can learn and grow.

PASBO’s mission is to develop and support leaders in school business operations. 

The association is dedicated to providing members with exceptional professional development, peer-to-peer networking, and showcasing best practices in school business. Our business members provide our school members with information, innovative products, and services that allow for effective and efficient business operations. PASBO is also a significant entity in advocating for PA schools and students with Pennsylvania’s legislators and other collaborators interested in education throughout Pennsylvania. PASBO provides members with training on how to effectively interact with government officials responsible for governing schools and making laws that affect school business operations. 

PASBO is also committed to providing up-to-date information and best practices for school operations officials so that PA students have the best possible environment in which to learn.
